Mar. 2000 Founded as Cyber-Biz Inc. (now ZAPPALLAS, INC.)
May. 2000 Through consigning design, development and management of mobile contents, we started our B-to-C E-commerce
Jun. 2000 Began to transmit our “Machiuke Gyarari-” of i-mode official contents, and started our digital-contents business
Apr. 2001 Changed our company name to ZAPPALLAS, INC
Mar. 2003 Opened our i-mode official shop, “Aroma Ga-den,” and started our mobile commerce
Apr. 2004 In the term ended in April 2004, we started 22 new sites with fortune-telling contents, and secured the top share in “fortune-telling”
Aug. 2004 Began supplying digital contents for PC-users
May. 2005 Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s Mothers market
Jul. 2005 Began transmitting the first free i-mode fortune-telling site, “i Muryo Uranai”
Nov. 2005 Acquired a subsidiary in the form of G-Plus Co., Ltd., a cell-phone retail company
Dec. 2005 Began transmitting EZweb’s first completely free fortune-telling portal site, “Kanzen Otamesi Uranai 2006”
Jan. 2006 Formed business alliances with East Japan Marketing & Communications, Inc. and Connect Technologies Corp., and began providing our “Suica.jp” service
Feb. 2006 Acquired a subsidiary in the form of Ares & Mercury Co., Ltd., a company performing planning, development and production of cell-phone-oriented contents
Feb. 2007 Utilizing our know-how for acquiring members, we started our affiliate-program for mobile phones, “Affiliaid.”
Apr. 2007 Began transmitting web-banner advertisements on “i Muryo Nyu-su”
May. 2007 Through cooperation with Yahoo Japan Corporation, we have begun operating Yahoo!’s mobile-version fortune-telling at our company
Jul. 2007 With the aim of tapping into new areas of business in our mobile business, we formed a capital and business alliance with Transcosmos, Inc.
Dec. 2007 Opened our “Kouun Kamukamu Dou” shopping center in “i Muryo Uranai” and “i Kaiun Muryo Uranai”
Apr. 2008 Transferred some of our shares in Ares & Mercury Co., Ltd. to Transcosmos, Inc., and they changed from a consolidated subsidiary to an equity-method affiliate
Oct. 2008 Opened our “Pocket Market” integrated shopping site
Feb. 2009 Performed a market shift to Tokyo Stock Exchange’s first section
Feb. 2009 Began supplying an iPhone-oriented fortune-telling application, “Kyo no Hoshi-Uranai,” in partnership with Transcosmos and Ares & Mercury
Feb. 2009 Together with JR East, Yahoo Japan and East Japan Marketing & Communications, we began supplying “Y! Suica,” a Suica-only mobile site
May. 2009 Acquired some of Nikkatsu Corporation’s shares, with a view towards expanding in the areas of movies contents, and mobile contents of movie and image characters
Oct. 2009 Began supplying “Miku Miku Shindan,” our first attempt at a mixi Apps.
